Midweek Entry
May 29, 2008, 00:11
Interesting conversation with spa staff (SS):
Me: Hi, I'd like to make an appointment for facial tonight.
SS: Sure, who have you always been served by?
Me: I forget what her name is, but its that Cantonese lady.
SS: Hmm. Would that be V or M.
Me: Yes, its M. ^_^
Its quite bad. But I am not good with names. I recognise people on the streets by the timbre of their voices or their faces. But their names just slip my mind.
Finally, the week is coming to a close. I hope I would be able to clear all my stuff before I fly off to HK.
A colleague told me today that I should visit Sham Shui Po there since the social dynamics there are rather interesting. I was told that it was the poorest area in HK and an example of how urban decay develops.
Quite fortunate to have been introduced to friends of classmate/colleague who offered to bring me around HK/Macau during the day.
Things seem to have been falling in place, locking me into the status quo. I guess I will be here for a while, until a better opportunity crops up.
Fri:
Go to the Gym
Meet Yx for dinner
Change money for HK trip
Sat:
Chair Board Meeting at CARE
German Class (Speak with Frau Habouz about qualifying test in Oct)
Meet Leonard in the evening.
