Christening Party

Went to the christening lunch party of baby Rebecca at PS Cafe this afternoon. The daughter of my colleague S and L (who incidentally taught me PE back in JC)who are currently based in London, it was nice to be invited to celebrate the happy occasion with them. Naturally, L was grinning from ear to ear like he had struck the lottery. The star of the show however, slept peacefully throughout, oblivious to the noise. I promised to visit them next week.
One of the relatives who was Korean had a very adorable 18 month old daughter who would respond to the Korean greeting "Annyo" (which means hello) by bowing. Very good parenting. We dont see that much respect by our youth today.
Its a long night. Much to do. I cant wait for the weekend. But then again, the weekends are equally hectic. Sigh.
Ok. Back to writing that speech.
